The new logo for Eugene Area Gleaners provides a bold yet colorful appearance. By filling the voids with a purple stroke (#541a4c) the icon gains more versatility for branding. For example when used as a favicon in the browser (as seen in the browser tab), the new icon is easily recognizable.

Font

The new logo uses the font Tiempos Headline which is an elegant serif font that offers a touch of professionalism without being too formal. The old logo used the font Eagle Lake which was a perfectly suitable a script font.

The choice to change to a Serif font was to be recognized as a more serious brand while being reminiscent of the older logo.
